David is a partner and has charge of the firm’s Commercial and Property department.
He acts for commercial and private purchasers, vendors and lenders in the areas of commercial and residential property with a particular interest in technology, renewable (for land owners and developers) and other energy transactions and landlord and tenant matters. David is also experienced in dealing with banking and finance transactions including taking security
He also advises on all aspects on commercial and contract law and has a wealth of experience of the law in mergers and acquisitions, business turnaround and reconstruction with particular interest in the healthcare, life sciences, technology and energy sectors and has worked with a number of companies in these sectors.
He has spent some time seconded to large corporate and public sector clients since qualifying in 2000 providing valuable advice on all aspects of their ongoing commercial development.

Agatha qualified in 1998 and has extensive experience in litigation including advising corporate, semi-state, insurers and private clients on insurance litigation, commercial disputes, employment matters, insolvency and debt recovery
Agatha represents a large insurer and Drinks Company in the defence of personal injury claims and has expertise in personal injury (plaintiff and defendant), medical negligence and insurance law. Agatha represents corporate banks advising on loan agreements, guarantees, motor stocking loans, insolvency and debt recovery.
She has lectured on the workings of the Commercial Court on the Law Society Diploma in Commercial Litigation and to practitioners for The Dublin Bar and Solicitors Association. Agatha also provides in-house talks to clients on bullying and harassment claims at work and personal injuries law.
Agatha successfully completed the Law Society's Diploma in Insolvency and Corporate Restructuring.

Roger is a consultant having qualified in 1968. He set up Roger Ballagh and Son in in 1980 which merged with Kennedy and McGonagle in 1997 and was later its managing partner driving its growth and subsequent acquisition of Bell Branigan O’Donnell and O’Brien in 1997.
